Attack on the heartSoulful joy completed. As thoughts go flying towards the life of afterwards notions created by those who have not travelled One Sunday, Glasgow the heart attacked and death completed until science kicked in and the return to wonders enthusiastically grasped. This beauty of light upon a leaf the fractional second of sun-kiss on the loch. Warmth of a grandchild's hand and the accompanied questioning gaze Death, "I am the messenger of joy", "I question your legitimacy" Stillness unknown to those listening to others who have not felt the quiet No brain to feel to record the moment after...... Detachment from all save God, that unimaginable, unconstrained, above all else to be free of everything, Not a place of vestal virgins or fiery pointed prongs or incarnated entity Stillness beyond nothingness empty beyond the void Alas no recollection of the wonder |
