Welcome to the web site of the Bahá'í Communities of Skye. Compared with many in the UK, this is a relatively young community, with its first declaration being as recent as November 1989. Like many communities, it has had its crises and victories, sometimes growing, numerically and spiritualy, and then pulling back only to advance again. These few pages are designed to give the reader an insight into the make-up and activities of this small island community comprising less than 20 adults but with many youth and children. Please follow the links from this page. |

How to find usIf you plan to visit us, please give us plenty of warning. Most members of the Skye community live not far from the Skye Bridge and near the Citylink bus route to Portree. People coming by train can catch the bus over the bridge (15p each way) or the local service to Broadford. How to get to Skye? Timetables? Click here. Thank-you for reading thus far. If you have any queries or comments, please do e-mail us. |
